What Makes LK’s Private Classes Different
Completely Hands-On Learning
You’re not watching from the sidelines, but doing the cooking. From prepping ingredients to finishing each dish, you’re actively involved every step of the way.
Hands-on learning helps build muscle memory and confidence, so when you recreate meals at home, you actually know what you’re doing.
Learn the “Why” Behind the Food
Instead of just following a recipe, you’ll learn why ingredients and techniques work. Lindsey explains how flavors develop, why certain methods matter, and how to adjust recipes confidently. These skills go far beyond one meal, making cooking more intuitive and enjoyable long after the class ends.
A Relaxed, Judgment-Free Environment
Cooking can feel intimidating, but it doesn’t have to. LK Cooking classes are designed to feel welcoming and pressure-free.
Mistakes are part of the process. Questions are encouraged. There’s no expectation to already “know how” to cook. Lindsey’s teaching style is patient, encouraging, and supportive, making learning feel natural and stress-free.

Meet Your Instructor, Lindsey Hargett
Lindsey Hargett is a culinary school graduate with years of restaurant experience, but her passion lies in helping people feel confident cooking at home.
Growing up, family meals were a meaningful part of her life—whether it was a gourmet dinner or mac and cheese. That connection to food inspired her transition from restaurant kitchens to personal chef work, where she could focus on people, not just plates.
Lindsey believes anyone can cook and that everyone deserves more home-cooked meals they feel good about.
