Cranberry Pear Sauce

Sourdough bread makes this stuffing a complete show-stopper!

With no artificial ingredients and a pear for sweetness, your family will ask you to bring this every year on Thanksgiving!


  • 1 12 oz package fresh cranberries (about 3.5 cups), rinsed and drained
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/4 cup pure maple syrup
  • 1/2 orange, juiced and zested
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp ground ginger
  • 1 ripe pear, peeled, cored and diced (you can substitute an apple)

  1. Add all ingredients, except the pear, to a pot and simmer on the stove until cranberries start to burst, about 20 minutes.

  2. Add the diced pear and continue to cook about 5 minutes more until pear begins to soften.
