Eggnog French Toast

Eggnog French Toast


  • 1 ½ cups eggnog

  • 5 eggs

  • ½ tsp ground nutmeg

  • ½ tsp vanilla extract

  • ¼ teaspoon salt

  • 12 slices hearty white bread (challah, texas toast, or french bread)


  1. Preheat an electric griddle to 350 degrees, or heat a large pan on the stovetop to medium heat. (here’s the one I use! )

  2. In a mixing bowl whisk together eggnog, eggs, nutmeg, vanilla extract and salt.

  3. Pour mixture into a wide, shallow dish, and dip bread into mixture. Transfer to buttered griddle and cook until golden brown then flip and cook opposite side until golden.

  4. Top with fresh fruit, syrup, and whipped cream.
